HERE ARE A FEW SHOTS OF SPIDER SETTING OFF THIS MORNING ACCOMPANIED BY DARREN (TOMO) THOMPSON.

They are well on course to be finishing at around 1600 on Sunday afternoon, some quite bad blisters but in true 29 style they are determined to complete the course.

Brian (Spider) Webster & Darren (Tomo) Thompson completed a yomp across Dartmoor (roughly 30 miles) over the August bank holiday weekend 2008 . The route was be from Okehampton to Plymouth with a night in Princetown, they finished on the Sunday afternoon at the Fisherman's arms (where else?)

They completed this yomp to assist raising funds for a proposed memorial to be placed outside of the Royal Citadel in honour of all who have fallen on active service since we became a Commando Regiment.

If you wish to support or donate to Their tremendous  effort please contact me on the usual email address. I will be putting a donation sheet on the web site shortly so you can either pledge by cheque or on pay pal.

The target of £1000 has now been exceeded, however you can still donate. All donations big or small will be greatly appreciated.
